Make the thing, don't just draw the thing. It's OK to not know the answer. Build, don't just manage. Quality is in the details. Stay close to the work. Make the work joyful. Lead from the front. Invent a better way. Be in the weeds. Be the owner. Join the dots. Talk straight. Show care.
I'm a design leader with over 20 years' experience building and scaling high-performing teams, shaping product experiences that deliver meaningful impact for businesses and their customers.
I work closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, Commercial and senior leadership – bringing clarity to complex systems and turning them into simple, cohesive experiences that scale. I care about craft, product judgement, and building trusted relationships that help teams do their best work and deliver meaningful outcomes.
I lead through focus, momentum and high standards, creating the conditions for teams to do ambitious, high-quality work while staying close to the product itself – helping shape the details that make experiences feel considered, delightful and trustworthy.
I've led Design across platform-level products, unifying fragmented journeys, raising craft standards, and embedding Design as a core part of how products are built and shipped. I've also led brand and replatforming work, helping redefine how products are experienced end-to-end.
More recently, I've championed AI-enabled workflows, enabling designers to own more of the end-to-end process, from concept through to production and putting Design at the centre of building and shipping products – bringing interaction design back to the heart of the craft.
Checkout.com
Checkout.com is a global payments platform that enables businesses to accept, process, and optimise digital payments, supporting enterprise merchants operating at global scale.
I built Checkout's first multidisciplinary Design organisation, bringing together Product and Brand Design, User Experience Research, Content Design, and Technical Writing, developing high-performing teams, and establishing strong hiring and capability development foundations that increased the visibility and influence of design across the company.
I led design across our merchant-facing experience pillars, setting strategy across Payment Performance, Financial Experiences, and Emerging Products, including Identity Verification and Issuing.
I led the integration of previously standalone products across multiple domains into a unified platform experience, established a scalable design system, raised craft standards, and partnered closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and senior leadership to align design with business, customer, and technical outcomes.
I championed AI-enabled design workflows, enabling designers to own the end-to-end process from concept to production and putting design at the centre of building and shipping products.
Skyscanner
Skyscanner is a global travel search platform that helps millions of travellers compare flights, hotels, and car hire to find the best options for their journey.
I helped lead the creation of a new global brand to position Skyscanner as the catalyst for a new era of travel. We defined a bold, globally resonant identity that strengthened the company's traveller-first positioning and elevated the product experience, using the rollout to rethink and optimise the product end-to-end, improving consistency, quality, and clarity across platforms.
I led improvements to the core search experience by identifying friction in how users modified searches and leading a redesign of Day View interactions, enabling users to edit search parameters directly within results rather than returning to the homepage, increasing search activity and lowering bounce rates.
I drove product and growth experimentation across onboarding and lifecycle journeys, including sign-up and marketing opt-in flows, resulting in a 10× increase in opt-in rates, and improving price alerts and lifecycle communications to deliver more relevant and engaging experiences for users.
DF London
DF London was a digital product and experience agency, partnering with global brands to design and deliver customer-focused digital products and services.
I joined the senior leadership team to help reposition the agency from a social-first model to a product and experience-led offering. I led the design department, managing and developing a multidisciplinary team and shaping the agency's creative and product output across brand, digital, and customer experience.
I worked closely with clients including Amazon Fashion, Santander, Boots, and Microsoft, leading engagements from early strategy through to delivery, and helping define how brand and product experiences work together more effectively.
Poke London
Poke London was a pioneering digital agency, creating innovative products, platforms, and campaigns for global brands at the forefront of the early internet.
I co-led the design team, overseeing creative output across a wide range of digital products, campaigns, and platforms, while growing and mentoring a high-performing team.
I acted as brand guardian for telco EE, building a trusted client relationship and leading work across web, mobile, and emerging digital experiences.
I led key projects including designing Topshop's first online store and helping bring Lonely Planet's book content online for the first time, translating established brands into scalable digital products.
